My work designing professional war games often calls for the creation of "mini-models" using Microsft Excel spreadsheets. While many are classified or restricted-use, below are some of the mini-models featured in the War Game Design Lecture 6 "Modeling in Games." Note that the models will not appear or work correctly in the web viewer, but must be downloaded and opened in Excel to function.

Also here is ENIGMA2, an Excel version of a simplified WW2 ENGIMA encryption machine. Why? Well, no reason other than it was a fun little project that still followed my principles for model design. Unlike most of the models here, ENGIMA2 uses VBA macros, so you'll need to check your macro security settings.
